In June, China’s output of paper and paperboard increased by 6.2% to 8.97 million tones. The output totaled 49.27 million tones during Jan-June, up by 16% year-on-year.
Newsprint production was 0.404 million tones, up by 8% compared to the same period of last year. From January to June, about 2.26 million tones of newsprint were produced, up by 4.2% year-on-year.
